BHS PGBT This path was identified as a ridden route during the survey for the BHS 1991 Year of the ARROW (Access and Riding Rights of Way). Subsequently, we collected user evidence to prove that it was indeed a bridleway and so could have it recorded on the defintive map for the area.

Legal History
2 Apr 1994: Appplication made to record as bridleway.
The City and District of St Albans (Bridleway 37 London Colney) Modification Order 1995 (confirmed 18 Sep 1996) added this path to the definitive map.

Commences from Shenley Lane (county road), London Colney, at TL 1757 0316 thence generally NE to TL 1759 0317 continuing generally NE to a junction with Restricted Byway 2 at TL 1763 0322.
Width: 4m between TL 1757 0316 and TL 1759 0317. 3m between TL 1759 0317 and TL 1763 0322.
Limitations: The right of the owner to maintain a width restriction (to not less than 1.5 metres) at or close to TL 1759 0317.
