PG: OBJECTS: PROMOTION: Potters Bar 75 Watery Lane Route

This path is an old route leading from Bridgefoot Lane (now Bridleway 73) to Wash Lane, near the South Mimms M25 Services. On some old maps, this route is shown as 'Watery Lane', and, like Oakridge Lane in Radlett, part of it runs along the river bed. The route was not recorded, and following our instigation, the two landowners affected, namely the Wrotham Park Settled Estate, and the Marquis of Salisbury, executed deeds of dedication so that the recording could happen by the speeded up (that is, uncontested) means. The route is shown in red on the sketch.
