The route from Bridleway Shenley 13 to Shenley 12 is about to be considered for recording by the Hertfordshire County Council, following our application to record the route twenty years ago.
In 1997, we collected evidence of use so that we could make an application to have the route added to the definitive map and so protected for the future.
Now, in 2017, the application is about to be processed by the County Council. They will ask if we have any further evidence to put forward when they start the investigation.
Please email trust@pgbt.org.uk if you have ridden the route and we will send you an evidence form for completion and return. It only takes a few minutes to fill in (the whole form fits on one side of a piece of A4 paper).
This route, which is currently in use by riders, links Shenley 36 (recently agreed to become a bridleway) to Shenley 13 bridleway.
