This route starts from St Albans City 75 bridleway, and continues generally north and northeastwards to end at the A1081 (formerly the A6) (public road). Legal History 20 Jun 1953: St Michael Rural 2 and St Albans City 88 were recorded as bridleways on the original definitive map and statement. DM sheets DM3-22 (TL10NW) and DM3-14 (TL10SW). 31 Dec 1977: St Michael Rural 2 was shown as a bridleway on the special review draft map and statement. DM sheets SR-55 and SR-67.
