| Legal History 1841: Westmill 4 was shown on the Westmill tithe map as not subject to an apportionment. 2 Feb 1953: Westmill 4 was recorded as CRB (Carriage Road used as a Bridleway) on the original definitive statement. DM sheet DM1-09 (Herts 13 SE). Missing file labelled Westmill 4, not proceeded with. HCC reference DM1/032. 31 Dec 1977: Westmill 4 was shown as a bridleway on the special review draft map and statement. DM sheet SR-24 (TL 32 NE). There must have been an objection, as no change was made and the route was shown as a RUPP. 2 May 2006: Restricted Byway rights were confirmed or created on this path by virtue of ss 47 and 48 Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. |
