This route runs along Edgwarebury Lane to the county boundary.
At the time of the BHS 2021 Access Survey (29 Sep 21), the path was unobstructed. There was a gatway at the county boundary (in the open position). The signage in Hertfordshire correctly showed 'restricted byway' status, but two signs in Middlesex showed 'public bridleway'. These may put off carriage drivers. The bridge over the M1 motorway appeared to be of public road standard (but without the usual traffic levels), and was suitable for equestrians. |
