PG: OBJECTS: PROMOTION: Welwyn 22 BOAT - Larch Lane |
![]() Annotated map reproduced courtesy of Googlemaps. |
This route runs from Robbery Bottom Lane generally northwards to meet Welwyn 23 which leads to Rosecroft Lane.
At the time of the BHS 2022 Access Survey (16 Jan 22), no gates were across the path and it was signposted only at the southern end. It looks just like a road, and is a cul-de-sac for riders and carriage drivers. The continuing footpath is a fenced narrow path. At the southern end of the byway, there is a sign indicating 'private road', but this is a public byway, so the sign is misleading. The adjoining path, Welwyn 23, is very narrow and has a right-angled bend. |
