Map showing potential Ashwell 33 bridleway
Annotated map reproduced courtesy of Googlemaps.
This route runs from Ashwell 2 restricted byway to Caldecote & Newnham 13 bridleway.

It was added to the definitive map on 18 May 2023 when the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State confirmed the County Council's order adding the route.

We need a volunteer to photograph this route for the Access and Riding Rights of Way Survey. It's easy - just take photographs (safely) when you use the path. Find out more!

EHFS The East Herts Footpaths Society performed the research and made the application for this route to be recorded as a bridleway. The county council agreed and made an order to do so in 2018. There were objections, and so the order had to be submitted to the secretary of state for determination. On 18 May 2023, the Inspector confirmed the order, and so recorded the bridleway rights. The Trust and the BHS thank the EHFS for performing the initial research and applying for the path to be recorded.
