This route starts on Hill Farm Lane (public road) and runs generally southeastwards to Codicote Road (public road) opposite Ayot St Peter 5 bridleway.

At some point, the definitive statement was altered.

Path: [Ayot St Lawrence] 1. Status: Bridleway. Definitive Map sheet: 42, 43
Commences at junction with county road north of Hillfarm Cottages thence SE to the NE of Hill Farm to junction with county road SW of Hurstling Wood.
Statement could usefully give the names of the county roads.

This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a footpath or bridleway existing before 30 Apr 1959.
