This route joins bridleway Colney Heath 2 to the Western end of Wilkins Green Lane, saving the need to ride over the poor visibility bridge that carries Smallford Lane over the disused railway line. It is shown in orange on the map.

Although the route has been in use for many years, no one has applied for it to be added to the definitive map of rights of way for the area. We would like to remedy this.
