This restricted byway starts from Woolmer Green 9 bridleway at the parish boundary and heads generally eastwards to Datchworth Green.

At the time of the 2024 Access Survey (27 Aug 24), the route was unobstructed. There was a signpost at the western end of Woolmer Green 9 and the eastern end of Datchworth 11. The last few yards at the eastern end are slightly founderous even in summer.
