| Legal History 2 Feb 1953: Ware Rural 44 was recorded as CRB (Carriage Road used as a Bridleway) on the original definitive map and statement. DM sheet DM2-23 (Herts 29 SE). 31 Dec 1977: Ware Rural 44 (both the 1953 route and an extension westwards) was shown as a bridleway on the special review draft map and statement. DM sheets SR-59 (TL31SW). |

Definitive Map sheet: 59 Commences from Restricted Byway 98 at western side of bridge over A10 thence S along same and SW parallel with River Lee Navigation passing Ware Park Mill and Riversdale to join Restricted Byway 98 and road to Bengeo. (former Ware Rural BR/RUPP44). |
