At the time of the BHS 2021 Access Survey (16 Sep 21), there were no gates across the path and it was signposted at each end. At the Watton Road end, the start of the path is to the north side of the signpost, behind a bush, but there is also a verge link in direct alignment to Knebworth2 bridleway.		1. Map Hitchin Rural West 16 (Herts 20 NE) and 19 (Herts 20 SE). 1 Nov 1953: The route was recorded as a bridleway on the original definitive map and statement. 31 Dec 1977: The route was shown as a bridleway on the special review draft map and statement. Path: [Datchworth] 24.  Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 30 and 44 Commences at Bragbury Lane, N thence NW to county road also scheduled as No.3 Knebworth.
