Much Hadham 60 restricted byway starts from Bucklers Hall Road (public road) and runs generally eastwards and southeastwards to a junction with Much Hadham 41 restricted byway and Much Hadham 46 byway.
Much Hadham 46 byway continues generally southeastwards then southwestwards to end on the public road. We need a volunteer to photograph this route for this year's Access and Riding Rights of Way Survey. It's easy - just take photographs (safely) when you use the path. Find out more! |

As part of the British Horse Society's work to record paths before
Path Extinguishment Day,
it was spotted that Much Hadham 46 Byway ended at a junction with Much Hadham 41 and did not reach the road. The historical evidence showed a continuous vehicular route, so an application was made in 2013 to record the gap to link to the road.
The County Council agreed with the application and an order was made in 2016 and confirmed by the secretary of state in 2017.
This is a good example of a path that could have been extinguished by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 if an application had not been made in time. | ||||
