The Northaw 14 bridleway runs from Coopers Lane Road (public road) generally southwards to the M25. At the county boundary it joins the Enfield 110 bridleway which leads to The Ridgeway (public road). Once other paths are recorded or created, as appropriate, this path (and Enfield 110) will form part of the Potters Bar Community Circuit. The new bridleway Northaw 17, created as part of the Trust's Northaw Major Project, links this path to Northaw 10. We need a volunteer to photograph this route for this year's Access and Riding Rights of Way Survey. It's easy - just take photographs (safely) when you use the path. Find out more!

Definitive Statement (10 Dec 10) Path: [Northaw] 14.  Status: Bridleway  Definitive Map sheet: 79 Commences at Coopers Lane Road approx. 250 yards south east of Chequers Mead and runs southwards between hedge and wire fence for approx. 150 yards. Thence south along a farm track with a wood and then a wooded gully to the west. At the foot of the hill crosses cart bridge and continues south along track to the M25 and County Boundary. Statement could usefully refer to junction with Enfield 110 BW. Enfield Definitive Statement (28 Nov 2020) Path: [Enfield] 110.  Status: Bridleway.   Commences at The Ridgeway opposite FP 279 at the farm track to New Cottage Farm. Proceeds northwards along the track for approximately 280m to the M25 motorway. Follows underpass under motorway. Here is the borough boundary. Remarks: New description due to local government boundary change and diversion by the London “D” Ring Road (A111-A10 Section Side Roads) Order 1971. Path continues into Hertfordshire emerging at Coopers Lane Road. Statement could usefully refer to junction with Northaw and Cuffley 14 BW.
