This route starts from Gobions Lane opposite Bramfield 12 bridleway, and continues generally northwestwards to end on Bramfield 1 bridleway. Legal History 1839: Bramfield 2 BW (where runs along parish boundary) shown uncoloured on the Stapleford tithe map and free from apportionment. 2 Feb 1953: The route was recorded as a bridleway on the original definitive map and statement. DM sheet DM2-20 (Herts 29 NW).

Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Bramfield] 2.  Recorded Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 44 Commences at junction with county road opposite Row Wood thence NW along parish boundary by Row Wood to junction with BR1 N of Sally Rainbow's Dell. Maintainability This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a footpath or bridleway existing before 30 Apr 1959.
